Who this program is for
This program is for businesses that sell tracking to other people: installers, telematics startups, fleet operators adding a service line, vehicle-finance and rental companies, security firms and distributors. SKYWONDER supplies partners in 100+ countries, and this page is written for India, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and the UAE.
The usual starting point is an operator who already installs devices on someone else's platform and wants the brand, the data and the recurring revenue. If you are still weighing whether to build that platform, read the build-vs-buy comparison first.
A good fit
- Installers and resellers who want their own brand on the platform, not a supplier brand that competes with them
- Fleet, security and vehicle-finance companies turning tracking into recurring revenue
- Rental operators who already buy devices and now want to resell to peers
- Distributors who can commit to 100 units and hold replacement stock
- Logistics and cold chain operators reselling trailer, container and reefer tracking
- Operators running school transport and AIS-140 projects who need compliant hardware plus a branded platform
- Teams with someone who can install hardware and answer first-line support
Not a fit
- Single-unit buyers fitting one tracker to one car: use the 4G tracker range instead
- Consumers who want a tracking app subscription rather than a business selling to others
- Drop-shippers with no stock; installed hardware needs local inventory
- Anyone expecting country exclusivity on a first 100-unit order
What the GPS tracking platform for resellers includes
Four things: factory hardware, a platform carrying your brand, mobile apps published under your name, and engineering support behind your support desk. The plant runs an ISO 9001 quality system across 5,000+ m2 with 200+ staff including 30+ R&D engineers, and capacity of 20 million units dispatched to date.
Every batch passes in-line SMT testing, aging tests and a pre-shipment QC report, and devices carry a 12-month manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects.
- Hardware: vehicle trackers, OBD plug-ins, asset and motorcycle units and 4G AI dashcams from the same Shenzhen line; ask for the certificate set that applies to the exact SKU you plan to order
- Platform: the Traqcare web app on your domain: live tracking, route playback, alerts, geofences, fuel management, reports, device management and user roles, documented at docs.traqcare.com
- Apps: iOS and Android builds carrying your logo and app name, so your customer never sees ours
- Support: onboarding training, firmware updates, spare parts and integration help through support
- Freedom to leave: devices are compatible with third-party platforms such as Traccar, Wialon, Navixy and GPS-Trace
Why the bundle matters more than any single piece
The hard part of a tracking business is rarely the device. It is keeping a server online, keeping two app-store listings alive, and answering the 9pm message saying a vehicle shows offline.
For depth on the software layer, see GPS tracking software and the 2026 platform comparison.
Build your own platform vs white-label with Skywonder
| Dimension | Build your own | White-label with SKYWONDER |
|---|---|---|
| Time to first customer | Months: server, decoders, map keys, app builds, store review | Weeks: branding runs while the first order is produced |
| Upfront spend | Developer time, hosting, multi-supplier hardware | Hardware order plus platform terms quoted with it |
| Hardware integration | You maintain every protocol decoder | Every SKU pre-integrated; GT06 and JT/T 808 stay portable |
| Mobile apps | You build, sign and update two apps | Branded iOS and Android builds supplied under your own name |
| Who owns the customer | You do, plus responsibility for uptime | You do; SKYWONDER sells to you, not your end customers |
| Best suited to | In-house developer teams with devices in the field | Operators who sell, install and support rather than code |

How white-labelling works, sample to branded app
White-labelling means the platform, the apps and the device configuration carry your brand instead of ours. Two clocks run in parallel: hardware production and platform branding, and app-store review times belong to Apple and Google, so submission is scheduled early.
- 1
Scope and quote
Tell us country, device types, first-order quantity and whether you need the platform. You get a per-model quote, with payment terms and Incoterms set there.
- 2
Sample order
Order 3-10 sample units, shipped in 5-7 business days by express courier, and test signal, install time and battery behaviour in your market.
- 3
Brand assets and domain
Send logo, colours, app name and support contacts, and point a subdomain at the platform. Your instance is created with your admin account, map, language and units.
- 4
App builds and store submission
iOS and Android builds carry your icon and name. How store submission and developer accounts are handled is agreed during scoping, so plan it early.
- 5
Production and pre-configuration
In-stock models ship in 3-7 days; custom or high-volume runs take 15-25 days after deposit. Units leave the line with your server address and APN loaded.
- 6
Training and go-live
A screen-share session covers device registration, sub-accounts, alerts and reports. First customers are then added under your admin, each with their own login.
- 7
Steady state
Your team runs the front line; our engineers handle firmware, configuration, platform faults and warranty RMA. Repeat orders are re-quoted as volume grows.
Reseller program tiers
Tiers are set by the volume you commit to over roughly a year, not by a joining fee. Starter begins at the 100-unit white-label entry point, Growth at around 500 units, Enterprise at 1,000 and above.
Pricing is quoted per model and volume, so the table shows what changes between tiers rather than what each costs. When rolling volume moves, the quote is refreshed.
What stays the same at every tier
- 12-month manufacturer warranty on hardware covering manufacturing defects
- Factory firmware updates and the same engineering team
- GT06 and JT/T 808 output, so devices survive a platform change
- Your customer data stays yours; we sell to you, never to your end customers
Indicative reseller tiers (pricing quoted per model and volume)
| What changes | Starter (~100 units) | Growth (~500 units) | Enterprise (1,000+ units) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Branding depth | Logo, colours, app name, your domain | Deeper branding across the web platform and apps | Full brand pack: device marking and packaging |
| Hosting | Shared instance on your domain | Hosting options discussed at this volume | Hosting and data-residency terms agreed in the contract |
| Support SLA | Email and WhatsApp, Shenzhen hours | Named contact | Named engineer; support terms in the agreement |
| Custom firmware | Standard firmware with OTA updates | Reporting presets tuned for your market | Custom firmware scoped per project |
| Account management | Sales contact on WhatsApp | Named account manager | Dedicated manager with volume reviews |
| Samples | 3-10 units | 3-10 units plus pilot batches | Pilot and pre-production batches per project |
| Territory | Non-exclusive | Non-exclusive | Exclusivity against committed annual volume |
Hardware you can resell
The eight models below cover most reseller orders: wired trackers, an OBD plug-in, wire-free asset units, a two-wheeler tracker and two 4G AI dashcams. The product index lists every published model.
For branded hardware, see white-label GPS trackers and the OEM tracker guide.
Vehicle trackers
The GT06 4G is the standard wired option for cars, taxis and light commercial vehicles, with GPS/BDS/GLONASS/AGPS positioning under 10 m and OTA firmware upgrade. Where 2G is still the cheapest live network, the J10 covers the same install with ACC status, power-down alarm and offline position buffering.
The C30 4G OBD plugs into the diagnostic port on a Cat 4 modem, which suits rental and finance fleets where an installer visit per vehicle is not economic.
Wire-free asset and two-wheeler units
The W10 is a magnetic LTE Cat 1 unit for trailers and containers with power-saving reporting modes. The GT76 adds five neodymium magnets and a light sensor that alarms on removal. The published radio spec for this variant is 2G GSM 850/900/1800/1900, so confirm the radio variant and 2G availability in the destination market before ordering.
The SW16 targets motorcycles and e-bikes with a quick-release taillight mount; the motorcycle solution covers packaging it.
4G AI dashcams
The D9 runs ADAS warnings (FCWS, LDWS, PCWS, HMW, FVSA) and driver monitoring for smoking, yawning, closed eyes and distraction. The WD02 records a 1080p main camera plus three 720p cameras, which suits multi-camera fleet video work; see the product page for the full specification.
Before quoting video, run the storage calculator and the data usage calculator; underestimating SIM data is the fastest way to lose margin.

Test before you commit
Order 3–10 sample units and evaluate them on your own platform or on Traqcare before placing a production order.
Margins and economics
Resellers earn in two places: a one-time margin on hardware and installation, and a recurring monthly fee per vehicle. The recurring line is what turns reselling into a business with a valuation.
Platform terms are quoted alongside hardware volume rather than published, so your monthly margin is whatever you charge above your own platform and SIM cost. Work the model in your own currency.
Three variables
H= hardware margin per unit: selling price plus install fee, minus landed device cost and installer labourM= monthly margin per vehicle: your monthly fee, minus your platform cost and SIM dataN= vehicles live on your platform
Worked example
Assume you fit 100 units across year one at a steady pace, so average live vehicles is roughly 50 and all 100 are live entering year two. Year-one gross profit is 100H + (M x 50 x 12), or 100H + 600M.
Year two, with no new sales, is M x N x 12 = 1,200M. That crossover is the point: if 1,200M is smaller than 100H, your monthly fee sits too close to platform and SIM cost, and the business will need constant new hardware sales to survive.
Landed cost sits inside H, so freight, duty and clearance belong in it; the import guide covers those line items.
Setting the monthly fee
- Anchor against what the customer already pays locally: a guard shift, an insurance excess
- Price under that anchor, then confirm
Msurvives platform cost and SIM data - Charge installation separately; bundling it hides labour cost and erodes
H
Costs first-time resellers forget
- Replacement stock: the warranty covers manufacturing defects, not accident damage or a bad install
- Support hours in month one, when every new customer opens the app hourly
- SIM activation and carrier admin, which differs sharply by country
- Payment collection: card fees, mobile-money charges, chasing transfers
Onboarding, training and escalation
Support runs on two tiers. Your team handles first-line questions from your customers; our engineers handle firmware, device configuration, platform faults and warranty RMA.
Onboarding is a live screen-share covering platform administration, device registration, sub-accounts, alerts and reports, recorded for staff you hire later.
Installers and technical teams
- Wiring diagrams and configuration notes per model, with server and APN pre-loaded on shipped units
- A handover checklist: position fix, ignition status, geofence alert, playback, live video
- Platform docs at docs.traqcare.com, protocol and API detail on the developer page and in the GT06 explainer
- Running your own or a third-party server is supported, not merely tolerated
Escalation, documents and returns
- WhatsApp and email in Shenzhen hours at Starter, priority queue at Growth, named engineer at Enterprise
- Certification documents and test reports for your market, on the certifications page
- Returns: 30 days for unopened standard products, buyer pays return shipping and a restocking fee may apply; custom and white-label products are non-returnable
- Repeat pre-sales questions are answered on the FAQ
Territories and exclusivity
The program is non-exclusive by default. That keeps the entry point at 100 units and allows more than one partner in a market the size of India, Nigeria or Brazil.
Exclusivity for a country, state or vertical is discussed at Enterprise volume, tied to a committed annual quantity and reviewed against orders placed. Raise it in the first message; scoping that up front is easier than retrofitting it after three orders.
Every partner gets brand separation. Your customers see your name on the platform, the apps and the support line, and the data on your instance is yours.
One naming point confuses new partners: retail SKUs such as the GT06 "no monthly fee" tracker are named for the direct-to-buyer channel. On your platform you set your own monthly fee; the hardware is identical.
Compliance rules differ by market, so check local regulations before you quote: see the India page, the Brazil page and the Africa buyer guide, and ask us for the documents your market asks for.
How to become a Skywonder GPS tracking reseller
There is no application form and no joining fee. Sales is WhatsApp-first, and the process runs in four steps.

Frequently asked questions
How do I become a GPS tracking reseller with Skywonder?+
Send the models you want to resell, your market and a rough first-year volume by WhatsApp or the contact form. You get a per-model quote, order 3-10 samples, test them on your own SIMs and vehicles, then place a first branded order of 100 units while the white-label apps are set up under your name.
What is the minimum order quantity to join the reseller program?+
MOQ is typically 50-100 units per model depending on the product, and the white-label program starts at 100 units. Before that you can order 3-10 samples to test in your market. Mixed first orders across two or three models are usually workable; ask for the exact split when you request a quote, and see the MOQ guide.
How is the platform quoted?+
Platform terms are quoted together with your hardware volume rather than published, because they move with quantity and tier. Ask for the current terms when you request a quote, then set your own monthly fee on top of them. SIM data is separate and bought locally, so include it in your monthly cost per vehicle.
Can I use Skywonder hardware on my own platform instead?+
Yes. Trackers output the GT06 protocol and dashcams and MDVRs output JT/T 808, so units are compatible with third-party platforms such as Traccar, Wialon, Navixy and GPS-Trace, as well as your own server. Many partners buy hardware only. The developer page covers integration detail for your engineers.
Can the mobile apps be published under my own brand?+
Yes. iOS and Android builds are compiled with your app name, icon and colours, and the web platform runs under your own brand. Store submission and developer-account arrangements are agreed during scoping. Review timelines are set by Apple and Google, which is why submission happens early in the launch sequence.
Do you supply SIM cards and data?+
No. Devices take a standard SIM and you source data locally, which is almost always cheaper and better supported than an imported plan. Units can ship with your APN pre-configured so installers do not set it per device. Factor data into your monthly cost per vehicle before setting the price you charge customers.
Which certifications do the devices carry?+
Devices are manufactured to CE, FCC, PTCRB, IC, RoHS and REACH standards, and the factory runs an ISO 9001 quality management system. Coverage is per model, so ask for the certificate against the exact SKU. Ask for the test report for your import market too, and check local regulations before you quote. Market-specific homologation support is handled per project; the certifications page lists what can be issued.
How do I order samples?+
Order 3-10 sample units through WhatsApp or the contact form, naming the models and your market. Samples ship within 5-7 business days by express courier. Test coverage, install time and alerts on your own vehicles before committing to a branded run.
What are the lead times for a bulk order?+
In-stock models ship in 3-7 days. Custom or high-volume runs take 15-25 days after the deposit is received, depending on quantity and the level of customisation. Branded platform and app work runs in parallel with production, so software is rarely what delays a launch. Shipping time on top depends on the mode you choose. Quantities per model are set out on the MOQ page.
