The factory and the ISO 9001 quality system

Skywonder Technology has built trackers and 4G dashcams in Shenzhen since 2011: 5,000+ m2, 200+ staff including 30+ R&D engineers, 20M+ units dispatched to date, 100+ countries.

Production runs under an ISO 9001 quality management system, with strict quality control at every station: in-line SMT testing, aging tests and a pre-shipment QC report on every batch. A certificate copy is available on request.

Buyers can also arrange third-party inspection at the factory, described further on the supplier page.

Which certifications do the devices carry?

The table is the menu held across the range. Devices are manufactured to these standards, and the paperwork that applies to your import market is issued on request. Ask for the certificate against your exact SKU before the deposit.

Country approvals per order

  • Brazil: we assist with ANATEL certification for Brazil-bound orders. See ANATEL trackers for Brazil.
  • India: no AIS-140 certification is claimed here; check local regulations for your state and ask sales what applies. See the AIS-140 page.
  • UAE and elsewhere: we assist with TRA and other region-specific approvals required for your market.

How to request a certificate or test report

No download wall, no login. Region-specific certificates are provided on request, so the request names the model and the import market. Export paperwork then carries commercial invoice, packing list, HS codes and certifications.

  1. 1

    Send model and market

Message sales on WhatsApp or use the lead form, naming the model (GT06 or WD10) and the country of clearance.

  2. 2

    Receive the certificate

Back comes what applies to that model: CE, FCC, IC, RoHS or REACH, plus the ISO 9001 certificate if a tender asks.

  3. 3

    Ask for the test report

Certificates state the outcome, reports show the measurements. Regulators often want the report; test reports can be provided on request for your import market.

Testing and quality control on the line

Certification proves a design met a standard once. QC decides whether the units in your carton behave like that certified sample, which is what warranty claims measure.

Every batch passes in-line SMT testing, aging tests and a pre-shipment QC report; the line runs a 99.7% first-pass yield.

  • SMT line: pick-and-place, nitrogen reflow, AOI optical inspection, X-ray for BGA components
  • Assembly and test: cable routing, firmware flashing, GPS cold and hot start, cellular check
  • Environment and release: waterproof testing on IP65/IP67 models, drop and vibration tests, final QC inspection and packaging

Test before you commit

Order 3–10 sample units and evaluate them on your own platform or on Traqcare before placing a production order.

Why certification matters for importers

Three things go wrong without the paperwork: customs holds the shipment, a carrier refuses to activate SIMs, or a tender drops the bid on documents.

Customs is the common one. Requirements differ by destination, so check local regulations and have your broker confirm which certificate and HS code the invoice must carry before the container ships. See the import guide.

Carrier approval matters wherever a device joins a named network, which is why PTCRB exists, and tenders score documents before hardware.

Worked example

Take N units of model M bound for market K, lead time T days after deposit. Before paying, request the certificate set for M that K recognises, plus the ISO 9001 copy.

During the T-day build, check local regulations with your broker on the HS code and the model, start any local approval such as ANATEL or TRA, and book inspection before the container is sealed.

White-label orders: what changes when you rebrand

Rebranding does not re-engineer the device. On an OEM order your logo, packaging and firmware branding sit on existing hardware, so the electronics and housing are unchanged.

Certificates are issued in the manufacturer and model name rather than your brand, and you can present them to customs and buyers. What an importer must hold in its own name varies, so check local regulations. ODM differs: custom casing, a modified PCB or antenna may change what applies.

Terms sit on the reseller program page and white-label tracker page.

  • Unchanged: hardware and existing designs. Changed: label, box, app name, domain
  • Your side: importer duties vary by market, so check local regulations
  • Protocols: trackers use GT06, see the protocol guide; the dashcam and MDVR range uses JT/T 808; integration details sit in the developer notes

Frequently asked questions

Which certifications do Skywonder devices carry?+

Devices are manufactured to CE, FCC, PTCRB, IC, RoHS, REACH and ISO 9001 standards. Certification applies per model rather than to the whole catalogue, so ask for the certificate against the SKU you order. Region-specific certificates and test reports come on request.

How do I get a copy of the certificate?+

Send the model name and the country where the goods clear customs, on WhatsApp or the form at /contact/. Region-specific certificates are provided on request, with the ISO 9001 certificate if a tender asks. Test reports can be provided on request too.

Are the trackers ANATEL certified for Brazil?+

No blanket ANATEL claim is made across the catalogue. We assist with additional certifications required for specific markets, ANATEL for Brazil among them, so ask sales what applies to your model before the deposit is paid. The Brazil page explains what ANATEL covers and what importers show.

Do the trackers meet AIS-140 for India?+

No AIS-140 certification is claimed for any model here. Requirements for India are set by the relevant authorities, so check local regulations for your state and confirm with sales what applies to the model you order. The AIS-140 page covers scope; model suitability is confirmed case by case.

Does the certificate change when I sell under my own brand?+

No. On an OEM order your logo, packaging and firmware branding go onto existing hardware, so the device in the box is the one the paperwork describes. Certificates stay in the manufacturer and model name. ODM changes such as a custom housing or modified PCB can change what applies, so check local regulations.

What quality checks happen before my order ships?+

Boards pass AOI and X-ray inspection on the SMT line. Assembly adds firmware flashing, GPS cold-start and hot-start testing, cellular verification, waterproof testing on IP65 and IP67 models, plus drop and vibration tests. Every batch gets aging tests and a QC report. More in the FAQ.
